Megan Klein began her dance training at the age of six in Kernersville, North Carolina, where she competed for 12 years. In 2017, she put her competition shoes behind her to pursue a professional dance career, by gaining a higher education at AMDA College of the Performing Arts, Los Angeles where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts, BFA Degree.
In AMDA’s Dance Theater Program, Megan trained and is proficient in Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap techniques. While at AMDA Megan was given the opportunity to perform and was featured in many shows. She was able to work under the direction of Doriana Sanchez, Donyelle Jones, Fresh Redding, Stephanie Landwher, and Tracy Silver. She also performed in original works created by Rhapsody James, Yusuf Nasir, Rob Rich, Gerran Reese, Devin Solomon, Jimmy Weeden, Genivive Carson, Mackenzie Crosley, Jason Gorman, Mary Ann Chavez and many more.
Grateful for her connections with Fresh Redding, she was able to book Coachella with Kayne West as her first professional gig with several of her classmates. While performing at Coachella, she was awarded the opportunity to also work under Fatima Robinson and DJ Dubz.
Megan is a talented and much valued young choreographer and instructor for her Forever-Home studio – ExtravaDance and Tumble. She says she is an old soul who loves reading and striving for versatility by exploring music and singing as well as dance.
