November 2011 – ExtravaDance and Tumble, the Triad’s No. 1 dance studio, has unveiled a new, redesigned website and studio logo that marry fresh, contemporary design with new web content and features that we hope will make your experience at ED&T even better than before.
The new website highlights great photos and video of our dancers right out front along with “news” headlines to keep you up to date on happenings at the studio. We’ve also added a calendar where you can find dates for important events with a single click.
Other new features include an online ED&T Handbook that has every aspect of the studio and its policies organized and explained, a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) and an archive of media coverage of the studio and its accomplishments. Find these new features under “About Us.” You’ll also find a statement of the studio’s philosophy there. We want you to know how we view our mission to develop grace and character in our students through dance.
Of course, most of the features on our previous website can be found on our new site using what we think is a more user-friendly navigation. Just mouse over the navigation buttons at the top of the page and you’ll discover links to schedules, policies, special programs and of course photo galleries, to name a few.
The new logo design was created with the desire to play off past and current logos while at the same time updating its look. Since ExtravaDance opened its doors in 1993, there have been three updates to the original logo which featured a 90′s style dancer with several cascading stars. The new logo includes the always present ExtravaDance star as well as an additional hot pink color to add to the traditional ED&T turquoise, black and silver. Keep an eye out for this brand new logo on all new ExtravaWear, car magnets, and much more!
Please let us know what you think of the new website and how we can make it better.
