Get Ready! Extravadance & Tumble presents our 28th Annual Recital “Forecast Follies” “Whatever the Weather We Are Dancing Together” Where: Walkertown High/Middle School Auditorium When: June 17th and 18th Showtimes: Friday, June 17th 6:30pm Saturday, June 18th at 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm Competition Showcase, Saturday June 18th 5:30pm Our recitals always include beautiful costumes, great music, and adorable, talented dancers!Except for the Competition Showcase, each recital is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and 45 minutes with a short intermission. Guests are welcomed. Tickets are not necessary.

Our Summer dance program is an 8-week session that includes combination classes, single genre classes, intensives, workshops, auditions, mini-camps and just plain dancing fun! Summer session is a great time to start dance for the first time as it is only 8 weeks, but long enough to learn and see if you want to continue in the fall session.  There is absolutely no fear of being trapped in a long term contract for recreational (non- competitive) dance classes. 

The month of February is always an exciting time at the studio!  Not only Valentine dance fun, but the reveal of recital theme and beginning choreography for recital dances.  Though we continue to progress with our technique curriculum, we add a little recital choreography each week as we move towards completing our dances in time for plenty of practice before recital.  Attendance in class becomes even more important during these weeks so that students will gain confidence and be ready for their big performance.  Hopefully we will

Our new Showtime Time Team continues to grow, and we would love you to be part of it!  What is Showtime Team!  It is a non-competitive dance team geared toward community performances and dance team FUN!  Minimal costumes and very low monthly tuition make Showtime a great team experience while enjoying dance!!  Concurrent dance class enrollment is not required.  Showtime Team is divided in to two levels – K-2nd grade, and 3rd – 5th grade. Come join us for our 28th Season of Dance at Extravadance & Tumble! The fall session begins August 16th and continues during the traditional school year ending with our annual recital in mid-June. Registration for Summer Dance  begins April 1st.  Classes will begin June 22nd and end on August 14th.   This is an 8 week session and does not include a recital. Extravadance & Tumble Is a certified studio for the Acrobatic Arts program.  After much research for a new program and methods for training dancers in flexibility, strength, and technique in tumbling and acrobatics, we chose the Acrobatic Arts program because their methods teach acrobatic skills from the beginning and work up to advanced skills with the proper technique for dance and cheer.  Erica Summerlin, assistant studio director and competition team director at ED&T, has trained and been certified in this program and trains her instructors to follow
